This training course provides the participants with the knowledge and skills to understand the requirements around hazardous manual tasks. This course covers a range of topics, some are stated below:

• What are hazardous manual tasks
• ACT Legislation and Code of Practice
• MSD
• Hazardous manual tasks
• Responsibilities
• Biomechanics
• Principles of correct manual handling and lifting
• Practical component
• Risk identification and assessment

Course duration is 1.5 hours.
